The Structured Cabling Course allows technicians to obtain the structured cabling endorsement on their Open Registration. It is designed for technicians who wish to install structured cabling in commercial buildings for high speed data networks including Category 5, 6 and 7 rated installations. This course is also suitable for security technicians who install structured cable for security camera, access control or alarm systems.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING to your Structured cabling course

  • Proof of identity to show your instructor – this can be either a current driver’s licence, passport or company photo ID
  • Enclosed shoes or safety boots
  • Appropriate work attire – long sleeve shirt and pants
  • Safety glasses
