ACMA Lift Rule

Lift registrations are for telecommunications cabling in lifts or elevators.
The full set of conditions for all cabling registration types is available in the Telecommunications Cabling Provider Rules 2014.

For more about becoming a registered cabler and the types of cablers go to:acma.gov.au/Industry/Telco/Infrastructure/Cabling-rules/how-to-become-a-registered-cabler

This short course may be useful to individuals who are qualified licensed electricians working in technical roles for lift installations on new or upgrade installations for an existing network or subsystem for convergence telecommunication network applications.

As all customer cabling work in the telecommunications, fire, security and data industries must be performed by a registered cabler, all cablers are required to register with an ACMA accredited registrar.
