This HFC Network Technician course is aimed at experienced HFC customer premise technicians, who are looking to cross skill or already undertaking HFC works from the tap up to the optical node, including: identifying and repairing faults, repairing and maintaining network power, commissioning, and certifying the HFC network performance.
JB Hunter recommends that Technicians, as a minimum, have previous experience with the HFC network, including installing and terminating coaxial cable and undertaking RF testing (both tap up and tap down).

With the exception of qualifications, students have 3 months from commencement of training, to complete all learning and demonstrate competence. After this time the enrolment will be cancelled.
