Fault Finding Customer Premises provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to perform cable and system test on customer premises, and locate and identify cable system faults.
On successful completion, learners will be able to:
The following units of competency MUST be completed or held prior to commencing your Fault Finding Customer Premises workshop.
ICTCBL247 – Install, maintain and modify customer premises communications cabling: ACMA Open Rule
ICTTEN208 – Use electrical skills when working with telecommunications networks
ICTWHS204 – Follow work health and safety and environmental policy and procedures
These units can be obtained by attending the Open Cabler course. This would be an additional cost.
If you successfully complete these units with JB Hunter, they will be included on your Statement of Attainment.
Please be aware that if you have not completed the above prerequisite units you will not be able to attend the classroom component of this course.
Upon successful completion of this training program, you will awarded the following qualification:
ICTCBL323 – Test cables and systems on customer premises
ICTTEN317 – Locate, identify and rectify telecommunications network faults

With the exception of qualifications, students have 3 months from commencement of training, to complete all learning and demonstrate competence. After this time the enrolment will be cancelled.
