Our coaxial cabling course covers the installation and termination of coaxial cabling in the customer premises environment. This includes: connectors, installation, transmission testing and practical exercises.

TRAINING RECOMMENDATION

We recommended that learners also complete the Open Cabler Registration course. Upon successful completion of both the Open Cabler Registration and the coaxial cabling courses, learners may be eligible to apply for the mandatory specialist competency (previously known as endorsement) required to undertake coaxial cabling work.

Our locations include Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle, Adelaide, Darwin, Perth and other major regional centres throughout Australia. In-house training is available on request.

Online & blended delivery

Learners can complete online modules at there own pace. Once complete, learners are required to contact JB Hunter to book an in class practical and assessment.

This eLearning course requires learners to print out course notes to bring to class.

Course cancellations and changes

JB Hunter reserves the right to cancel, postpone or alter the dates and/or times of any course. Trading terms seven (7) days. Any debt collection fees incurred will be added to the balance of the account.
Transfer & cancellation fees apply.
Only one transfer allowed per booking.

Cancellation Fees

On confirmed receipt of written notice from the client:

  • 11+ business days prior to course commencement – cancellation fee 10%, transfer fee 5%
  • 6-10 business days prior to course commencement – cancellation fee 25%, transfer fee 12.5%
  • 3-5 business days prior to course commencement – cancellation Fee 50%, transfer fee 25%
  • 0-2 business days prior to course commencement OR non-attendance – cancellation fee 100%, no transfers
  • Cancellation after being granted a previous transfer – minimum cancellation fee 25%

 

Transfer and cancellation fees are based on the full standard course price – any discounts or subsidies offered will no longer apply.
