Covid 19 Prevention: Venue Access Policy
If you have recently travelled overseas, or you have been in close contact with anyone confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus, or with anyone suspected of having such symptoms, in the last 14 days, you are required to undertake a period of self-quarantine for 14 days.
Further to travel or other exposure, if you are experiencing any fever, cough or breathing difficulties,
we require you to:
Immediately cease coming to the training venue and contact us via phone or email as soon as possible
Contact your doctor or local GP to book a COVID-19 screening as soon as practicable and follow their instructions, which may include self-isolation for 14 days. The number for the Coronavirus Health Information Line is 1800 020 080
If you are unable to contact a medical professional, please self-isolate for a minimum of 14 days
Any students self-excluding will be able to transfer to a later course at no additional cost.
Recommended Hygiene Practices
The World Health Organisation also recommend the following practices to avoid infection:
- Wash your hands frequently with soap and water
- Maintain social distancing – at least 1 metre
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
- Practice respiratory hygiene – catch your cough, cover your nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing
The management of JB Hunter thank you for your cooperation with the above.
