HSE Training and refresher programs – Accredited Service Provider (ASP)

Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) plays a vital role in protecting the health and wellbeing of everyone. Our specialist team research the WHS Act, Regulations and Codes of Practice to ensure our Health Safety and Environment (HSE) practices are suited to all employers, employees and delivery partners.

Our HSE training programs have been developed in consultation with leading industry experts in health safety & environment and the telecommunications field. At JB Hunter you will be able to find a course that complies to the Accredited Service Provider (ASP) needs, be it an individual course or a full ASP program. JB Hunter is delighted to offer on-line and face to face delivery modes to satisfy the individual need and situation.

Blended Delivery

DELIVERY

The HSE programs offer a blended learning solution. Learners are invited to complete self-paced courses to suit the individual need of an ever changing telecommunications workforce. Upon successful completion of the theory component, learners can select a suitable time and place to complete the face to face practical elements/assessment. JB Hunter offer venue locations for all states and Territories within Australia.

If you have not completed HSE training before, you must complete the New Entrant program

There are several HSE programs to select from:

HSE three year initial course

HSE3 – HSE Three Yearly Initial Program:

This program may be deemed mandatory by your delivery partner (DP) prior to the enrolment into the HSE Interim Year Refresher Program (HSEI).
This program is best suited for Genus Communications workers requiring the “I&M Initial” accreditation. 

HSE one year refresher

HSEI – HSE Interim Year Refresher Program:

This program is delivered as a blended learning solution and provides learners with an assessment only option for both theory and practical components.
This program is best suited to Genus Communications workers requiring “refresher” training and workers undertaking telecommunications work for delivery partners such as Downer, Service Stream, Vision Stream, Fulton Hogan, BSA and others.

South Australian HSE

HSE3SA – HSE Three Yearly Initial Program for South Australia:

This program may be deemed mandatory by your delivery partner (DP) prior to the enrolment into the HSE Interim Year Refresher Program (HSEI). This program includes HLTAID003 – Provide first aid.
This program is best suited for Genus Communications workers requiring the “I&M Initial” accreditation in South Australia.
