FTTC TECHNICIAN


This course meets the requirements for nbn™ technical skill accreditations:
Skill 1 – Basic jumpering at the pillar and/or node;
Skill 2 – Installing underground copper joint enclosure;
Skill 3 – Copper jointing;
Skill 5 – Copper fault finding;
Skill 9 – Fibre inspection and cleaning.

  • ICTTEN313 – Work on and resolve recurrent network faults
  • ICTCBL320 – Jumper metallic conductor cable in the access network
  • ICTTEN318 – Inspect, clean and handle optical fibre cable and connectors
