JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will provide timely and appropriate information, advice and support services to assist clients to achieve their identified outcomes.
There will be no unnecessary barriers for entry into training or assessment services. JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will follow only nationally set entry requirements: these are based on competence, NOT on personal characteristics such as race, national extraction, gender, age, disability, marital status, criminal record, religious or political beliefs or social background.
Enrolment and selection processes will be fair, equitable and accessible to potential clients and include:
- Admission procedures that are contained on the enrolment form and other advice given, including fees, charges and any other requirements of the client.
- Dissemination of JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd client service standards.
- Dissemination of JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd access and equity policy.
- Advice on recognition of prior learning, including dissemination of the JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd Recognition of Prior Learning Policy.
- A contact for grievances.
Marketing
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will operate in accordance with the National Operational Protocol for the Marketing of Recognised Training, involving Ethical, Accurate and Clear Marketing Practices.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will:
- Gain a client’s written permission before using information about that individual in any marketing materials, including endorsements and personal images.
- Accurately represent recognised training products and services to prospective clients.
- Ensure clients are provided with full details of conditions in any contractual arrangements between the two parties.
Where JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd advertises as a Registered Training Organisation:
- The products and services covered by the recognised scope of registration and will be clearly identified.
- Advertisements will identify and correctly name nationally recognised products separately from courses recognised by other bodies (eg industry bodies) or without recognised status
Delivery
The delivery features used by JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will be based on competency based training and adult learning principals, encouraging maximum participation.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will maintain its capacity to identify learning needs and design training products.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will ensure that physical resources and personnel used in the delivery of training activities meet the requirements of the relevant training specifications.
Training and assessment activities will meet the needs of the individual, by being:
- Flexible in approach
- Geared to different learning styles
- Based on adult learning principles
- Supportive
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will ensure that students are provided with additional assistance if required. This could be in the form of a mentor or referral to appropriate services such as TAFE literacy and numeracy services.
Assessment
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will ensure that its assessment activities and processes comply with the National Assessment Principles of the Australian Quality Training Framework, assuring industry-relevant qualifications, consistency, quality, national recognition and provision for recognition of current competencies, regardless of where these have been acquired.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will ensure that physical resources and personnel used in assessment activities and processes meet the requirements of the relevant training specifications.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd assessment processes will be valid, reliable, flexible and fair.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will practice assessment that draws on all available sources of evidence by Recognising the Prior Learning gained from workplace experience, life experience, informal learning and formal learning, both on and off-the-job.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will place no restrictions on the amount of credit that is allowable towards a qualification. Nor will it specify essential or prohibit any types of evidence, unless specified in respective Training Packages.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will ensure that assessment arrangements remain flexible to ensure clients are not disadvantaged keeping in mind the requirements of the relevant training package.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will recognise qualifications issued under mutual recognition where appropriate
Grievance Procedures
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will at all times maintain a clearly structured and documented Grievance and Appeals Process to allow a series of review mechanisms in the event of disagreement. This document will be disseminated prior to commencement of any training and/or assessment services.
Pricing and Payments

Client Welfare and Guidance Services
Where appropriate, information relating to client services will be made available to clients prior to enrolment.
Where appropriate, JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will provide comprehensive information to assist and refer client to further guidance services.
Management Practices
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will apply a quality focus to its operations as a Registered Training Organisation, continually working to improve its activities in all areas, including the core activities of training, assessment and issuance of qualifications, as well as the support activities of client records management, business management, administration and marketing.
JB Hunter Technology will practice ongoing consultation and feedback processes in all its activities, in support of its quality focus.
Legislative and Regulatory Requirements
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will abide by all relevant legislative requirements.
JB Hunter Technology Pty Ltd will maintain adequate and appropriate insurance
