Online Optical Fibre - ICTTC010D
The Online Optical Fibre Cabling Course consists of two parts:
a) 10 Online Modules -
Optical Fibre Cable Types; Light Propagation; Fibre Performance; Fibre Products; Fibre Cable Installation; Fibre Testing; Fibre Safety and Handing and Fibre Termination.
b) 1 day practical competency assessment will be conducted at a JB Hunter training venue. The assessment will include a written examination and practical skills exercises that will determine that you are competent.

The course covers the skills and knowledge required for a cabler holding Open Registration to upgrade his/her registration to include Optical Fibre Cabling Endorsement.
Prerequisites: You will need to provide evidence that you have/hold Open Registration with an ACMA registrar.
Students who do not hold Open Registration shall be issued with a Letter of Attendance only. Conversion to the full Award will be granted if Open Registration is attained within 6 months of completion of the Online and Practical components of this course.
